The Project

Blog and Retail Store

The women of Chalk It Up Fancy have a massive social media following and their DIY Squarespace website was no longer cutting it. They needed a professional redesign and a platform that could handle their growth and their specific retail needs.

I migrated their site to WordPress so they could manage inventory and sales with WooCommerce. I created a design that includes fonts, brand styling and a color palette that speaks to the nature of their business – chalk paint and craft hobbyists.

A Custom Solution

A Shop as Unique as their biz

Chalk It Up Fancy had many unique needs in terms of back end development. They carry a wide array of products, many of which require special shipping methods. I was able to deliver a product that met these needs by creating a conditional shipping system on checkout. This system enables them to offer the best prices to their customers and the lowest shipping possible on large and bulky items like paint bundles.

It was a challenge but it was incredibly fun and rewarding to create!
